Mario Kart 8 isn't the only reason to get a WiiU, it also has 3D World, Just Dance, Skylanders, Wii Fit U and many more, Mario Kart just makes the decision easier, so I think the increase in sales is going to last and other games will also benefit
I could be wrong, WiiU is hard to predict
don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
