This is true for every brand though. Nier was pretty bad, yet many Square Enix fans insist it's amazing. Halo 4 was average at best, yet people insists 343 is capable of taking over Bungies work. Resistance is also meh, yet it still has a following. Heck Vita is the best example, only a could proper exclusives, yet owners insist it's an amazing system.
I ask about Bayonetta because I loved Vanquish and I think I will like Platinum Games in general. Bayonetta stands out because it's their only franchise with a sequel. I wouldn't ask this question if it was about a Vanquish sequel because I LOVED Vanquish.
