The legit reason is because they are also shitty on PS3/360, but people accept thats how games are gonna be on 8 year old hardware.

If you want there to be a big difference between the games, there has to be a big difference between the hardware... which there isnt.

There's no legit reason for them to be worse than PS3/360 though. That's just laziness and/or incompetence.
