Shadow1980 said: For some inexplicable reason, the PS2 sold an ungodly sum in March, even more than it did in December. There were no real huge system sellers. Tax season might explain it, but that would be the single biggest tax season boost ever that I'm aware of. Does anybody know if the PS2 was supply-constrained in its early months? |
It was deifnitely supply constrained. I pre-ordered mine a year in advance and when Sony cut shipments in half even I was unable to get one at launch.
I also remember Onimusha:Warlords coming out in March being one of the first "show off" games for the new system. I guess it was similar to Infamous: Second Son a bit in that respect.
