i pointed out to him (i think it was him), but Swift Swim is OP as f*** on mega swampert. It has a chance of going banned!

Maybe, but rain teams are hardly used in the metagame (compared to how often they were used last gen), and Swampet is gonna be slow as hell anyway (maybe even slower than before), to the point where swift swim might not even be enough to allow him to outspeed the top tier speeders.

Blaziken still got the best deal imo, and then Sceptile got the epic typing and looks. Swampert got turned into a blue Kirby
