is Splatoon receiving more attention because its an exclusive Nintnedo shooter?

I count Toad as a new IP, but I don't know which I'm more excited for, and I BEGGED for Toad.

 

Then again while the robot game looked really rubbish to me, I'm a few generous previews away from wanting Project Guard on eShop.

I would like it bundled with the robot game and something else.

Honestly unless it was a Nintendoland style package the robot game would probably put me off of Project Gaurd... that is probably very vain of me though.
