My statement wasn't really exclusive to Nintendo, but yeah if one party becomes very vocal then it's not surprising that the movement against that party becomes very vocal as well.

Or maybe the noise from e3 has nothing to do with the U's sales and the vocality of the fanbase, but with the content shown at e3.

Just maybe.

Who do you think the people making all those tweets are? It's the fanbase. Who do you think all the people making thread over thread on gaming forums about all the Nintendo news are? It's the fanbase. Who do you think made all those Nintendo posts and upvoted them last week on Reddit? It's the fanbase. Who are the people making the youtube videos? It's the fanbase.

It's really naive to believe that this E3 had any real life impact on most customers view on Nintendo, or that it managed to create some kind of buzz that will help Nintendo do better now, the more realistic explanation is that Nintendo does still have alot of fans on the internet and that those fans take any kind of "positive" Nintendo news and make a huge deal about it, case in point is for example all the fuzz that is made about Hyrule Warriors, which is getting a ridiculous amount of hype for what the game actually is. So take those Nintendo fans and an event like E3 and you could suddenly believe that the whole world owns a Wii U, when in reality it's just those fans making alot of noise.
