Price cut SKU didn't go into circulation until the 9th, so this week and the rest of June will really be the true indicator.  Microsoft just basically threw away May and the first week of June by announcing the cut too soon.  Of course, whether it has a sustained effect in sales remains to be seen.


They'll have to rebound from 38k with the new SKU. If the kinectless bundle doesn't catapult the X1 enough, it'll have to drag it's way to the holidays.

Yeah, don't get me wrong here, I fully expect the price cut week to create a bump.  I just don't know if that will stabilize at a healthier weekly/monthly total, or simply be a bump and go back down to bad.
