Am I the only one who has noticed this. Publishers are so antsy at the thought of putting their game on ever single platform possible that they don't even realise that it isn't even worth the investment. I understand that in the past stepping into the next generation was pretty difficult due to sales being slow in the first year or so. But thats in the past. Gamers are adapting to this generation faster than they ever have in any generation. Look at all the cross gen games that have come out thus far and see how abysmal the previous gen sales are.

Watch Dogs:

PS4: 1.86m

X1: 0.90m

PS3: 0.43m

360: 0.46m

Wolfenstein: The New Order:

PS4: 0.42m

X1: 0.24m

PS3: 0.11m

360: 0.11m

Thief:

PS4: 0.44m

X1: 0.27m

PS3: 0.18m

360: 0.16m

Notice in ever game you have to add both last gen versions just to reach the X1 numbers? This just proves that it's pointless. The only exception to this is for call of duty... and thats pretty much it. Publishers waste time doing this shit instead of focusing on the current gen and getting the best out their games like Rocksteady.
