Which is your favorite console company?

1. Why are they your favorite?
Nintendo appeals to the nostalgia within me, considering I am an "older gamer." I grew up on these franchises and am genuinely happy when they manage to capture that original feel. They also tend to keep things clean and friendly, as opposed to bloody and visceral.

2. What is your favorite first party franchise from them?
Metroid

3. What is your fondest memory with them?
Too many to mention, but it probably has something to do with becoming extremely proficient at Super Metroid in a house full of people attempting the same thing.

4. What is your first memory with a console by them?
First console I ever bought: NES. Got the ROB bundle...my Dad made me read the ENTIRE user manual for the system before I could play. That's almost the same as these mandatory updates that consoles now ship with. Been hooked since.

5. Who did you think would win the poll before you voted?
Nintendo. Their presence here is pretty apparent. Sony will come in 2nd (and a close one at that). Microsoft will limp in with 20 percent. The fact of the matter is that this is probably as it should be, considering the length of time each company has been making consoles. Also, I'm not sure a lot of your "typical" xbox gamers would bother with this forum. There's way to much COD to play and kids to scream and yell at.
