There's serious problems with Mario Kart 8

While the 3 star method is pointless, the method on 3rd and Wii were super frustrating. It got to the point where it was complete luck. Are you getting hit with a blue shell 50 feet from the finish line (probably) or are you not. Once you got to a certain skill level, it had nothing to do with your racing and everything to do with if the computer screwed you over

The coin item is perfect. The speed they provide improves your total race time. If you have 10 coins,don't drop that banana peel you just got in first, keep it and ignore the item blocks. It's pretty simple.
