Kirby Rainbow Curse is played on the touch screen, so it wouldn't have worked on the 3DS because it wouldn't use the 3D screen. Mario Maker has the NES game, and they would need more time & money to do the stereoscopic rendering, especially time consuming, I mean just figuring out how exactly you want to do 3D in the NES Super Mario Bros. game consumes time by itself, let alone the other things in development that would consume even more time for a 3DS Mario Maker. And there's no reason to make Mario Maker for Wii U if there's a 3D one. So they had every reason for this game to also be on the Wii U exclusively instead. 2014 does have a great 3DS lineup, you just didn't see many revealed at E3 for the Wii U's sake. But look forward to unannouced games coming to the 3DS in just 2014 alone.

So are you saying there are more directs coming to talk about 3DS? Also, I missed Tomodachi Life in my 3DS 2014 lineup which looks really fun
