Fun Fact Wii vrs. PS3

note- I did this on a really quick check, so I could be off 1-2 either was for the PS3, I am pretty sure the Wii number is 7... and should be that way for a while.

Note- This is to show how great Wii sales are, not to discredit PS3 sales. PS3 is looking up in 08(at least in the west) and sales have been strong all year and it still has MGS4, GT5, and FFXIII mega exclusives to push it up... Needless to say, it won't effect Wii sales, but it will effect 360 sales.

Here's another interesting fact:

PS3 has 8 games with less than a 50% rating, and 48 with over 80%.

Wii has 33 games with less than a 50% rating, and 15 games with over 80%.

 

Here's another Tidbit:

Wii has been at least $150 cheaper the whole time both consoles have been out!

 

How about this, Blu Ray won the format war because of PS3/Sony. Wii can't even play DVD's.

 

So your thread is 100% flamebait as we all know, so check back in after GTA4, MGS4, etc, etc.

Here's another tidbit:

100% of Wii owners bought it to play games.

Less than 100% of PS3 owners did the same thing. It was the cheapest BluRay player out.

The OBVIOUS reason there are a large amount of shovelware titles on the Wii is that no one expected it to sell. Almost no AAA games were in development unless by Nintendo themselves. AAA games take a while to develop, the ones being developed for the PS3 are just starting to surface, and Final Fantasy isn't even close. With no software ready to release, and the Wii as the clear biggest seller, everyone throws sh;t together to get cash in their pockets before the good titles surface. 

People expected Sony to PWN,  then they fell from grace and they expected them to lose. They will wind up pretty well all things considered. But you cannot compare the early life cycles of the software because Sony 3rd parties had quality titles in development, Nintendo 3rd parties did not. 

I stood in line for a whole day to get a PS3 at launch. I wanted to be a fan. There has not YET been much to be a fan of.

The Wii kicked PS3's A$$ with no industry support and lesser titles. And it still is. That can't make a Sony fan feel good.

I understand the frustration of a PS3 owner/fanboy. I was so frustrated I sold my PS3 and bought Wii60. I feel much less anger these days.
