I get what you mean but I don't get how any of these are trade-offs...
- Current and future XBox owners obviously didn't purchase their console because of resolution. They prefer multiplayer shooters to single player cinematic experiences. If people bought consoles for resolution they would go on PC right? As for gaming preferences well... imo that wasn't necessary and will not comment on that. - They prefer their exclusive franchises, regardless of resolution. A few pixels here and there do not lessen their enjoyment of those games. Spot on ;) ... other things matter before resolution. - They prefer entertainment apps, snap feature, achievements etc. so they don't mind playing an inferior version of a multiplatform game. Yeah I know these are great additions. Ohh another useless opinion. Again, unless you're part of the PC Master Race you're also playing on an inferior version of multiplatform games - They enjoy having exciting new TV shows such as Halo and Every Street United, they are willing to trade off some plug and play capabilities. What? - Those who were not willing to make that trade off have moved on to other gaming devices. And those who just like to have fun experiences where are they?
- So no amount of arguing about an insignificant peculiarity like a slightly lower resolution or framerate will all of a sudden make them abandon all those preferences. And that is very comendable. You said it.

Xbox gamers sure did mind having inferior versions of games to the PS3. Xbox fans don't care.
