I think they will. For crying out loud they showed this game off during the Treehouse more than any other game announced. I think at one time it was 2 hours of nothing but Splatoon. I can't see Nintendo not making an epic advertisment campign for this game the potential ads for this are countless.

They're targeting families and children that like Nintendo, but have said "No" to recent Mario and other Nintendo outings. They're hoping this gets their interest.

Honestly I think Nintendo will also try to bring in the hard core bro shooter crowd with this too...how? Idk. Probably make an ad that takes a few jabs at COD and other games like that.
