I do not often buy 3rd party games on Nintendo systems but all my friends would do. Without large support they are not interested in getting the system at all. They want to play Skyrim, GTA, Farcry, Final Fantasy, Dark Souls and No Man's Sky.
The Wii-U could be much more competitive with a large 3rd party library and would not be perceived as a kids only system for children only. The Wii-U sales are so extremely bad because of the lack of games (other reasons are the tablet and the ultra-weak hardware specs) and lack of games means lack of choices and variety.
