400 euros is a lot for them, the unemployment rate in spain hits 26%. Kinda sick. |
Our 26% is not as bad as every other country. When Spain was doing well 10 years ago we had around a 10% unemployment rate. Spain always have more % than every normal country in Europe, it's chronic. There's also a lot of what we call here "dinero negro" in families pockets, (I don't know how to translate it in english), that is maintaining somehow the actual situation, at least for now. In conclusion, 26% is as bad as France having around 10-11%, not strictly worse.
On topic, 275k for Spain, impressive numbers. I bet France and Germany should be around 400-450k each. Italy despite being as big as those countries, probably should be around the same as Spain (a country with 20mill less people), maybe even less. Counting UK must be around 850k alone, those 5 countries sums around 2'3-2'4 million. If, according to VGC, PS4 have sold around 3 mill in Europe, that leaves around 600-700k for the rest of Europe. That puts some perspective about the situation of European sales.
