They send them directly to the secret Virtual Boy landfill (*) they bought from Ninty! That landfill should be accounted for as an additional region in chartz, it would be bigger than UK! 
(*) where gnomes, dwarves and alien slaves refurbish them to sell them as missile guidance systems to rogue states, declaring them as toys and allowing the US to circumvent the weapon embargo they themselves required for those countries.
