You're making the simple complicated. Sony will know if it's a trailer, gameplay or live demo. That obviouslyBbe discussed in time slot. But to think Sony can tell them what to show is ludicrous 

Or you are severly underestimating how much work goes into these things, its planned up untill the second and each individual game presentation needs to be approved multiple times.

 

I'm not saying it isn't planned to the second. But if you think Sony has any input in trailer compilation or what the demo consists of over 3rd parties then I don't know what to tell you.
