Smash Brothers Wii U is late 2014. It's the potentially the biggest home console exclusive title coming out this Christmas. I already have a Wii U, I'm glad I bought one, but I will be getting a PC (possibly an Xbox One if Sunset Overdrive is good) this year for multiplatform titles to complement Wii U's exclusive titles. I haven't seen anything that's going to turn Wii U around in a meaningful way, but if Kart maintains a decent base level for the system, and Smash/amiibo boosts the system into a good Christmas, and Nintendo follow up with their 2015 titles at decent intervals, they could yet avoid Wii U becoming their worst selling home console. Given their track record so far, I don't have high hopes, but given the software I'll be playing on Wii U, it doesn't matter that much to me. It's a niche machine with some excellent software you can't get anywhere else. |
Exactly I'm happy with my WiiU, Can't wait for Xenoblade Chronicles X. Super Smash Bros WiiU should of been confirm for November 2014, Nintendo's know that the game won't be ready till March 2015 but they can't announce that now or all the bad press will slow down WiiU sales even worst then they are now.
I'm actually really concern about WiiU for Holiday 2014? Bayonetta 2 is a niche game that won't sell that well, what will be the big Nintendo Xmas release? Yoshie Epic yarn...... actually that's Q1 2015!!!
The WiiU was never doom it's just not a commercial success. There no chance it will do worst than the Gamecube 21 millions.
