Too early to bother with a PS4 just yet for my money, the game library just isn't there to make it worthwhile. Same goes for the Xbox One too. The game library for the Wii U is faaaar superior at the moment. It has the definitive versions of several multiplatform games - Rayman Legends, Batman Arkham City, Resident Evil Revelaitons, Deus Ex and Splinter Cell Blacklist thanks to the GamePad - and some excellent exclusives: Super Mario 3D World, The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, NSMB U, NSL U, Mario Kart 8, Wind Waker HD, Lego City Undercover, ZombiU, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Sonic Lost World. Even if you ignore the Wii U games coming next year and just factor in this year's games the Wii U is a much better console to get. Different strokes for different folks I guess! |
I don't care which one has more games that interest me now. That's simply not how choose which console to buy. What I care about is which one will end up with the most games I'm interested in (and that I can't play on a console I already own) in the long run, because if a console has the most games now but ends up with way less games in the long run then I'm wasting my money by not looking further ahead.
Judging by previous generations, (and since I never had a PS3, 360 or even a decent PC, so there's no difference between a cross-gen and a next-gen-exclusive for me, and I own a Wii so backwards compatibility for Wii U doesn't matter for me), that console will probably PS4 for me, followed by Wii U and then XBOne.
