I honestly could not care less if we play as a male or a female.
Zelda has for me always been about exploring the world and
dungeons and solving the puzzles and beating the bosses.
If the story is in support of a female lead character i would not object, if it is a male i do not object.
I just need this game in my veins ASAP too bad it is a 2015 title.
