Am I missing something?
The details of the bet were set, nobody should be able to change that now without total agreement from everyone involved in the bet, no matter how close the margins are.
I agree the ban bets are silly but someone should have stepped in before the victor was determined rather than waiting to step in at the end =P
edit: Bare minimum they should be charged the ban fine and the winner should get the cash when/if the final criteria is met.
