Yeah and then Nintendo will abandon Wii U in 2016 just like they abandoned Wii, while Sony will support the PS4 for many, many years.

The Wii had a five year lifecycle. You know, like every other Nintendo console ever?

And if you read the OP, you would realize the TC is talking about how Sony is abandoning the Vita. But you just keep on shutting your eyes, covering your ears and going "blah blah blah blah." It's working well for you so far.

Lol what? What are you talking about? Did I offend your beloved Nintendo?

Yeah they are supporting it with indies and that's pretty much it, some localisations, some ports. Don't think anyone thinks it's enough. Sony should never take a page from Nintendo when it comes to supporting their consoles.

You are okay with 5 year lifecycle while competition is supporting their systems for 7-8 years?

No, you have to have a point and some reasoning to offend my love for Nintendo. You gotta try harder than that. It's funny that you mention the Wii U being supported with indies and some ports and localisations, when that's exactly what most of the Vita's output is these days. I'd say Nintendo is taking the page from Sony this time.

And yes, I'm OK with five-year lifecycles, so long as the console gets the full range of games I expect in it's lifetime. But considering that I play a much larger variety of games than the average person and I try to acquire every worthy game, I'm not hard to please. I'm still acquiring Wii games and playing them with no end in sight.

However, the the general impression I get from most forum goers is that they want shorter lifecycles to get to more powerful systems, better graphics and new possibilities sooner. I think you're the one in the minority here.
