I find myself doing the same sometimes. The grass always seems greener until you really scrutinize it. Handheld gaming has taken a beating (undeservedly, I think), and with the exception of a few notables like Monster Hunter, the 3DS has actually suffered more than the Vita. And while the Vita's yearly snubbing at E3 always kind of hurts, let's not forget that on an average non-E3 week it sometimes seems like Vita games are practically raining from the heavens (even if most of them are indies, and therefore not games).
And in the case of Type-0, at least, it sounds like it's Square-Enix more than Sony. Maybe this little fuck up will actually lead to Sony ponying up for a port on their own, a la Borderlands 2.
