only to a certain extent. certainly, the wii couldn't handle a game of such scale, but this will never be a problem anymore. we reached the technological point where limitations are basically nonexistant.

That's what I thought when I played the PS1 and N64. I also thought the same when I played the PS2 and Gamecube.
