That's why I'm hopin it goes PS3.  As this is the one series i'm not above importing.  If you end up liking the battle system for an SRPG it's really easy to memorize the couple minor details you need in the spirit special skills.

You do lose the cool story though. 

 

I agree.  I'm doing SRW-J off and on, and I've gotta say that seeing the Nadesico appear in the first map and fire the gravity cannon was spectacular.  Plus you don't have to know too much Japanese to recognize the simple atacks.  ^_^
