It's completely unproven on portables. There's nothing to compare it to. But I don't think it will exceed the WiiU version. I'm still waiting for feedback myself to determine if I do buy the 3DS version. It kind of strikes me when I think about buying it that I pretty much would then be spending $100 on this game... I would wait for a price drop but we all know that won't happen soon.
3DS: 5 million
WiiU: 6.5 million
