I feel like Nintendo is in big trouble at this point. Here's why:

The online on Wii U isn't terrible, it's just different.

With Miiverse, I feel more connected to other players. It's very easy to post a screenshot to get help on tricky parts of a game. Additionally, I don't need to hear about what my mother was doing last nite.

I can get to games and apps faster on the Wii U than the 360.

Browser works really nicely with games and the tablet.

Far less spamming/advertisements on the home screen.

System updates download and install faster than on my 360.
