Nintendo said they didn't want to put DLC in their games at first and now they do, but I don't think you can blame them for that. A company has to go with the time and if that contradicts an earlier statement, let it be so. I don't see how Microsoft intentionally said to themselves "let's lie to our costumers about the XOne's kinectless future"
