| Jazz2K said: What a piece of *** article... why don't we talk about how trustworthy gaming companies are? We all know that whatever MS will do good or bad is considered bad... So because Nvidia didn't want to get them a better deal, MS had to keep going on losing tons of money... according to some it's how things work when you're a business. Everyone knows MS made the RROD on purpose and didn't do jack*** about it leaving people with faulty consoles and laughed all their way to the bank because xbox gamers didn't get a 3 year warranty... MS were trying to pass a policy that gamers didn't want and now that they're trying to change that in order to give gamers what they are considered untrustworthy because they change their policy? I have a Kinect with my X1 and I don't feel like MS ows me anything because they are now selling two sku, one with Kinect and one without... I would've bought the one with Kinect anyway... should I start not trusting them? So all these but should I trust Sony or Nintendo more? They are always trying to make a console so different that we know third party devs will pass on developing for it. Also they seem to have problems with their controllers, their IPs, while great for what they are, never include things like sim racers, western rpgs, more realistic and gritty look and stories etc... hey but these concerns lead me to not trust Nintendo for my gaming needs, are they bad for that? No, Should I try to convince everyone that they are untrustworthy? No!!! Sony... I had to buy 3 PS2 because of their disc read error... did they do anything for that? No! Did they acknowledge the faulty PS1 and PS2? No! Did they try to sue someone who tried to put another OS in his console? Yes! Were they trying to prevent companies from releasing games on Saturn? Yes! Did they get lazy on the protection for their online resulting in the loss of credit card numbers and online components for a month? Yep! Can I go on for a long time? I sure can... But should all these stop me from enjoying games like Uncharted, The Order, Bayonetta 2 etc? It's incredible how this industry is based on "trust" of gamers more than on what experience these gamers can get. |
Good points but its seems that most people are clueless when it comes to the whole business fiasco between Nvida and MS during the original X-Box which was the main reason it went out of production a bit too early. Also Sony actually got sued over the DRE problem with the PS2 but most people never saw any benefits from the settlement from that lawsuit.
