So if you like me dont have adblock, vgchartz redirects you sometimes to random ad websites. I thought i'd do a test and hopefully an engineer can look into it, I downloaded a virtual windows xp onto my pc and malwarebytes anti malware.
I ran malware bytes, and it scanned 0 errors or problems. fine. I then opened IE (pre-installed) and spent about 5 mins just reading posts, only on vgchartz (so didnt go out of it to n4g or something else) and then closed my browser and ran malwarebytes again, this time 4 errors.
This was a clean install of windows xp, and the errors were nothing to do with cookies etc. they were malware. Only because I enjoy going on vgchartz am I posting this and hoping someone will check it out.
For reference, I have done the exact same thing before to other sites, including ones I made myself to check and they've come out clean, so for what it's worth I hope I was some help.
