I don't have an N64 (it was before my time), but as for Melee, I have played, but don't own it.  My friend had Melee, and we played it all the time.  It is actually thanks to him that I got into Smash.

Well, if you still have your Wii you can download Smash 64 from the Virtual Console! It's not as good as Melee and maybe brawl, but it's still a pretty fun game!

I thought Smash 64 on the Wii was part of a past Club Nintendo promotion;  but if not, does it require the Classic Controller?  Because I don't have that.
