Why does Watch Dogs help PS4 but do nothing for XB1

Markets all over the world have spoken just look at sales, clealry people prefer one over the other.

Exactly, there isnt much to argue with when put like that.

It's also surprising how many people who are not interested in exclusives but are just interested in getting a single console. about 5 of the 8 people I know had only an Xbox last gen and now have a PS4. These are not people who buy exclusives but buy 3rd party games. I think 3rd party is totally misunderstood and downplayed in favour of exclusives.

Exclusives are important to make your console to appeal to a wide audience but it's not the be all and end all (as nintendo have found out to their cost).
