Steam has an achievement system, too. Probably the Steam achievements and challenges of DR3 PC will be identical to DR3 XBO.

Well the X1 also has limited time challanges which is something they don't have on the PC. Did a bunch of them in Forza 5 and a couple of them in Dead Rising 3 one of them even unlocked a nice extra item in the game a Happy New Year hat.

And why do you think, other versions of DR3 will not have time challenges and won't unlock extra items outside the game? Steam has hats and many other virtual items, too. They have even a trading platform integrates for trading cards and virtual items... for some items you get ridiculous high prices to buy whole games.

Well I don't play games on steam since my PC is pretty weak plus consoles where always my platform of choice. As far as consoles go the X1 is the only system right now where each game has limited time challenges.
