The PS3/360 have only two third party games I want. The Wii has 15 first party games I want. I think the decision is pretty clear. I'm not shelling out extravagant amounts of money just for two games I can wait for either a port or compliation of next generation. Its common sense. |
So then why not wait for a port or compilation next generation? My comments about dissatisfaction with Wii support was not just addressed to you, but to any members that demand all of these games on their console. It happens all the time. What everyone fails to realize for some odd reason is the Wii cannot have the same games created for it that the PS3 and 360 can. The game needs to be considerably changed and usually that has very subpar results. Nintendo decided as a console maker to not support HD gaming and those that buy the Wii should already know that going into it. I believe every gamer should own at least two of the three current consoles if they want a well rounded library of games to choose from. This is not last generation where all games could be ported between consoles if need be at minimal effort for similar results. If anything, why don't you petition Nintendo to make a more powerful Wii or for Microsoft and Sony to make two less powerful consoles so the specs can all match? That would be a bit more fair than to ask Capcom to bend over to three console makers that couldn't come together and even have a middle ground for third parties to port to.
