Capcom's Petition to put RE5 on the Wii

This game is desired for the Wii largely on principle, not passion. We know its most likely going to be inferior to RE4 which the Wii already has, however many Wii owners feel a sense of ownership of the franchise as Nintendo has nearly the entire RE library on its respective consoles and many Resident Evil fans don't want to have to jump ship a third time just to buy the latest game. In addition, everyone who has ever played RE4 can agree that the controls for it are a must on the Wii. An RE5 not released on the Wii, is an RE5 less a game... At least, that is our argument and grounds for this petition.

That's another thing I don't don't understand. Why would not want another console? You're a passionate gamer, right? Therefore, more game to choose from means a more enjoyable gaming exerience. I've seen another post of yours that expessed interest in a bevy of games games that are on the 360 or PS3. If you buy one, not only do you get Resident Evil, you also get those games you were interested in. Also, there are things the HD consoles do better than the Wii such as online play. 

I hate Nintendo more than you hate Sony, but I still have to have a Wii because of some first party games. What I don't understand is how you could flat out not want another system. I can see why you hate it, but not wanting it is something I don't understand.
