imo an AAA game must be part of a series that:
A) Has a consistent high quality
B) Sells very well
So imo there are only a few AAA series:
Zelda, Mario, Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo, Grand Theft Auto, Halo, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid and a few others.
If AAA was just meant for single high quality games you could just call it a 90% game or something. An AAA game is something more special.
