I mean, obviously, he doesn't get it. But can you not see the difference between taking a poll of gamers and have your results say "gamers said this"; and taking a poll of gamers and saying "a larger and more diverse demographic said this"?
He did the latter with his gun show analogy (95% of gun owners want open carry, so 95% of Americans want open carry), this survey did the former (only 21% of gamers are interested in the Xbox One at $399.....so 21% of gamers are interested in the Xbox One at $399)
And btw, the survey wasn't "ridiculous". It did more than ask about interest in the Xbox One. The Cinemablend article was unprofessional, yes, but the survey itself seems sound. I don't think people are calling it "ridiculous" that "only 12% of gamers use consoles strictly for gaming. PS3 users are more likely to use Blu ray and 360 owners are more likely to stream video" or "83% say they've downloaded games through their console"....but when it gets to that one question about interest in the Xbox One at $399...it becomes ridiculous?
