It's more first party than third party. I counted it as first party.

When they own the IP but have a third party develop it we call it 2nd party ^^

I wonder what we'd call Bayonetta 2. They technically own the rights to the second title, but don't actually own the series IP. That's like 2.5th party xD

Platinum is not tied to nintendo. (They developed a Metal Gear Game for PS3 and X360 in 2013)

They are third party.
