Red Shells are the new Blue Shells! Acceleration actually matters! <(^_^<)

Duh it's unbalanced! As I've been saying, that's the whole point of Mario Kart! If you want balance you'll have to play a different game!

 

Also, to those saying acceleration isn't important or Red Shells aren't overpowered, firstly read the OP as you clearly must not have, then go online, and see what happens to you! I mean a few minutes ago I just got out of a game where I was frontrunning like a champ the entire race, then last lap the 2nd place guy went through two item boxes, getting a Red Shell each time and timing the first one perfectly, so I was without defense come the second shell. I would of won still thanks to my acceleration, but a green shell said no to that! xD

The game is still fun, but it would be a lot more fun if the items didn't play such a big role.
