i wanted this game until i heard there is no DLC

All that means is that you won't be nickle-and-dimed for extra songs. Seriously, when has DLC in a music game been worth it thus far?

Anyway, I'm all for that song selection, and Ashley's Theme in particular.

(She turned her teacher into a spoon.)

 EDIT: I'd also love it if they included the original Super Mario Bros. Super Show song. That way we could "do the Mario" while playing.

Uh, since several songs are $1 each. You get 58 songs for $170. If you play all 3 instruments that's about $1 a song+instrument, whereas at $1 a song DLC each instrument is worth 33 cents. $2 a song and being able to choose which songs you want is better than being stuck with crappy songs you don't want, too. Rock Band DLC is awesome.

 @windbane

you are right on the money. there are already around 50 DL songs to choose from for the ps3 and 360 and way more to come. with the wii, you're paying $170 for 63 songs. and because of the DLC program, there probably won't be a new rock band title for awhile.

the only hope for wii owners is if there is a rock band expansion released like every 6 months containing all the DL songs released during that span.
