Yeah, 30 fps is likely since Horizon 1 was 30 fps with motion blur. And if you read Digital Foundry's analysis of Horizon 1, you'll find out that they managed to lower the input lag of 30 fps from 132 ms down to 100ms, and they may further improve upon that in Horizon 2 if they do go the 30 fps route. Both The Crew and Driveclub are 30 fps as well, I'm not sure if Project CARS is 30 fps or 60 fps on consoles, so it's not like 30 fps would put it at any significant disadvantage compared to it's competition this year. |
Exactly... 30fps for racers isn't bad at all and if people laughted at DC for being 30fps then they're the ones missing out. For simulations I would understand but for arcade racers? No. I rather they push for content than fps and pixel perfect resolution especially if 30fps and motin blur do the trick.
