Are you sure that you are on the right screen? You can't do anything on the list of tournaments, you need to select yours and then the screen that shows the options Play, View Scores, Miiverse and Some Other Crap will have icons for the + and - buttons in the top right corner.

Yeah thats the screen im on, the overview screen, i have no icons in the top right corner where you can delete or edit your tournament and start and select wont work.
