I doubt the ps4 did hugely better as April/May are slow months and $399 is not impulse buy territory for casuals/general market. There will be a golden opportunity for the first to reach $299 to get epic sales numbers from 7th gen holdouts, who still number in the tens of millions.

Regardless, NPD will show us ps4 at or just above April numbers, and Xb1 running a fair bit below that. WiiU may even have pipped a 2nd place spot above a stalled xb1.

Expect 220k-235k, 70k, 75k split.

I would like to think that whichever console has more units at retail would sell more during the holidays regardless of a $299 or $399 pricetag.

Considering that there are a lot more unsold Xbones at retail, I expect Xbone sales to exclipse PS4 sales during the 2014 holiday season.

Just if there is enough games and pent up demands... I don't believe we will have all consoles sold out in the Holidays, but that would be great for certain.
