Change that from "wouldn't surprise me" to "they had better have".
I'm one of the biggest N supporters you'll find, been a lifelong fan since the NES back in the 80s. BUT, they have also stumbled and bumbled more than once with this new system of theirs, a GREAT system that just needs 1. MORE GAMES, and 2. MUCH MORE ADVERTISING.
So yes, they had better have some "surprises" in store for the summer. Because nothing coming in June OR July (or even maybe August?), would be absolutely fucking unacceptable. MK8 is gonna have legs regardless, but Nintendo isn't stupid, and they have MANY games that have been "in the oven" for years, that SHOULD be ready to blow any time now (Bayonetta 2, Yarn Yoshi, etc.).
