Point of the story, some Wal-mart staff is undertrained and unkownledgable of the products they help to sell. Then again, I'm in Canada so employee standards at Wal-mart are considerably higher. 

I've never met a person who didn't know what a Wii U was. It's always "that new Nintendo". 

True enough, but he did have plenty of knowledge of the ps4 and xbone.  It's troublesome that he didn't know of the wiiu's existence, both because he sells them and because he's a gamer.

A "gamer" who didn't know Nintendo released a new console? One of those Madden/FIFA/CoD only "gamers?"

 

Hope the WiiU gets a significant boost from MK8!
