CoD - crap
AssCreed - Crap
GTA - Muliplatform, hit and miss titles, DLC makes it better and modding community
Battlefield - Crap, more like Betafield
Final Fantasy - You mean cutscene simulator 2015
Halo - Built on a legacy of great shooters, is one. Heard the last Halo was good.
Fifa - Doesn't appeal to everyone
Resident Evil - Hasn't been a good one in years, since the Gamecube
Gran Turismo - You mean trying to be the "real driving sumilator".
^^All that is just general gamer consensus for people who frequent those crowds.
So much for wide appeal. NIntendo games have a wider appeal than all those combined. No matter where you are in the world people know what and who Mario is. All those games the other guy mentioned are only worth mentioning because of either A) they hay many many rehashed games or B) they had increaible scandals (See GTA, Resident Evil). NIntendo tends to reinvent their own IPs, adds things to make them fresh. What does a new gun in CoD do? What does a new car in Gran Tursimo do? What does the fox say!?
Now off at the OP...
This E3 isn't NIntendo's "last chance". People need to get off that train as it hasn't even been built. Doomsayers are just as bad as the paul-bearers of fate. Chances are, Nintendo announces release dates, a couple new IPs. People will get pissed that half the stuff coming to the Wii U isn't hitting the 3DS. Nintendo will likely announce a price drop of 50 dollars in August at Gamescom
