I am a Nintendo fan that's tired of the limitations from their HW the last two gens, and tired of wasting $$$ on multiple HW and its controllers, online, etc that I have to support. So I am 100% pro "Nintendo Playstation" or whatever combination they go with in a hypothetical SoNyNtendo merger..
I'd also favor if M$ left the console biz, and agreed on a mega deal with Nintendo on putting their windows live infrastructure for Ninty's online services. Nintendo also inherits Halo,, regains 3rd party support (now that MS is out of the picture, Nintendo will compete power-wise again) and Live, = M$ rakes in the $$$ like the SOFT-ware providers they are at its core. Basically, I'd also welcome a RIP Microhard(ware).
If Ninty goes 3rd party, I'd welcome that as well ( would be my least desirable solution).
