ubi happy gamers are not.

Why?

expectations were to high we thought we would get something revolutionary and we didnt overall its a mediocre open world game with a little gimick(hacking my ass)

From what i've heared it's a good game (maby not mindblowing or revolutionary, but good) and my friends that have it seem to like it.

It sounds like you fell victim to overhyping.

im pretty sure i didnt. its the way ubi showed the game.. gameplay, mechanics etc. its what i call false advertising i cant go into detail right now but just take a look at metacritic (user score) its below 5 so im not the only one.

It's been proven time after time that user meta is completely useless. Some incredible games have very low user metas for a number of reasons. They are as unreliable as it gets. I just checked Gamespot and the user score is 7.6. Of course you're not alone and many people didn't like it just like any other game. For every person who didn't like it there is another or more who liked or even loved it. I've seen tons of posts on 9gag from little gems from the game. And the comments suggest that many people are loving it.

Also saying "we thought we would get something revolutionary and we didnt" is wrong in my book because you can't speak for other gamers or for the majority. What you don't revolutionary, others do. I haven't played the game, but even from the 9gag posts alone, it seems like a breath of fresh air to me.

Edit: I also read posts about uplay crushing. That would explain people giving it a terrible score on metacritic regardless of how good the actual game is. Just a theory though.
